Job Purpose

Due to the continued growth and expansion of the THREE60 business across various energy sectors, we are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our team.. 

Basic Purpose of Role

Carry out all aspects of Electrical maintenance and repair activities on a wide range of process control, safety systems, and electronic equipment at site ensuring it is carried out in line with Duty Holder procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

The Electrical technician is responsible for the following:

  1. Accountable for the safe operation & routine maintenance troubleshooting, inspection, repairs and overhauls on the sites instrumentation, equipment and systems
  2. Ensure all preventative and corrective maintenance is executed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Duty Holder maintenance management system
  3. Properly document and accurately reporting all maintenance, configurations, repairs, overhauls, adjustments and inspections

Key Duties:

  1. Support a culture of continuous HSEQ performance improvement via transfer of knowledge and sharing of best practice
  2. Demonstrate excellent safety leadership behaviours at all times and encouraging colleagues to achieve outstanding performance in meeting Company HSE and business targets
  3. Ensuring compliance with Duty Holder performance standards. Electrical safety rules
  4. Liaise with the Lead Technician, and Site leadership and onshore engineers to determine and agree priorities
  5. Carry out maintenance activities in accordance with Duty Holder and industry-standard policies and procedures
  6. Ensure equipment, systems and work sites are reinstated to the required standard
  7. Utilise ISSOW system to act as PA, control worksite and liaise with the AA
  8. Support Electrical vendors & Subcontractors
  9. Provide guidance and support for all team members in terms of Electrical technical issues
  10. Maintain effective communication with work colleagues at all levels
  11. Ensure work history is comprehensively recorded in line with data quality requirements for maintenance-related activity
  12. Actively contribute towards production management and effective utilisation of asset’s Production Loss Management System
  13. Identify asset threats and opportunities and actively support the maintenance process
  14. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and removal of low-value activities

Emergency Response:

  1. Perform Emergency Response duties in accordance with platform requirements

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  1. Must have core trade competence in Electrical discipline, must have level 3 NVQ in core discipline or equivalent is essential [ ◉ ]
  2. A valid Compex Certificate is essential
  3. Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of safe working systems – e.g. ISSOW, Risk Assessment is essential [ ◉ ]
  4. Proscient COW 2 is preferred [ ]
  5. Advanced Gas Tester Level 1 is preferred [ ]
  6. Maximo 7.5 User is preferred [ ]

Skills & Experience:

  1. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and apply it in the workplace [ ◉ ]
  2. Excellent organisational and communication skills, ability to work on own initiative and with time constraints.[ ◉ ]
  3. Flexibility and willingness to adapt essential [ ◉ ]
