Gavin is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years’ experience gained both nationally and internationally managing and growing manufacturing & fabrication businesses.

Frank qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 with PWC and, since then, has gained a broad range of financial experience working for PWC corporate finance, John Wood Group and GE Oil & Gas before joining Pryme Group in November 2014.

Gordon Deuchars

Managing Director, GA Scotland & Pryme Group Board Member

An experienced Time Served Engineer, Gordon started GA Scotland in 1992 and expanded the business over the years through continual investment in modern machine tools as well as acquiring 2 other businesses along the way. The GA group grew to approx. 150 employees and 130 machines over this 24 year period.

A Chartered Accountant who had a thirty year career in private equity in the energy industry firstly with 3iGroup and latterly with Lime Rock Partners. Has experience of a number of board appointments including being chairman of a public company.

Jason Smith is the Simmons Private Equity ("SPE") representative on the Pryme Group Board. Jason has been with SPE since 2014 and prior to that he was with Lime Rock Partners, an energy focused private equity fund.

Colin runs the Simmons & Company International business outside of North America. He also serves as the Chairman of the Simmons Private Equity Investment Committee. Colin is a graduate of Aberdeen University and a qualified Scottish Chartered Accountant with significant experience in corporate finance in the energy sector.

Is a time served engineer and has extensive experience in solving clients engineering challenges, works consistently with OEM Defence Clients, O&G and other areas of opportunity, partnered the set-up of precision machining and hydraulic divisions of MKW Engineering Group.

Starting with MKW in 1989 as a Fabricator/Welder, Garry has worked his way through the company to the position he holds today.

Martin Paul Wright

Martin Paul Wright

Managing Director, Stargate Precision Engineering

Commenced as a time served toolmaker, Martin has now worked for MKW Group for about 40 years. He started on the shop floor and worked his way up to Machine Shop Manager, looking after some high value, Blue Chip accounts. He was promoted to be Works Director responsible for managers in a variety of disciplines.
