High-temperature testing can be carried out at elevated temperatures (from ambient to 660°C) with cyclic testing or extreme temperatures to simulate operating conditions and prove that critical components can cope in emergency situations.
Total control is maintained throughout the temperature range, with or without the application of high-pressure gas, and components are protected at all times against the potential of over-pressurisation or over-temperature.
Records are kept throughout the duration of the high-temperature tests with real-time logging of temperature, pressure and leak rates to provide highly detailed results.

During hydrostatic testing, components are hydrostatically tested with inhibited water (in accordance with API6D and ISO14313) to verify the body material strength of the component as well as the high and low pressure leakage integrity of the seat.
